You will be:

  • Identifying client needs and challenges and proposing viable solutions that utilize Appian software and/or other low-code platforms.

  • Collaborating with the sales team to understand client requirements, subsequently translating these requirements into a technical brief and level-setting the client's expectations.

  • Working closely with the IT team to pin-point any potential issues that could impede the implementation of the solutions proposed and to ensure the seamless integration of new software with existing systems.

  • Guiding clients through their digital transformation by providing expert advice on how to best use Appian solutions and cloud services to achieve their business goals.

  • Constantly staying up-to-date on industry trends, innovations in low-code technology, and developments in cloud services to ensure our clients receive the best advice and most currently effective solutions.

  • Utilizing your exceptional presentation skills to communicate complex technical concepts in understandable, client-friendly language.

Job requirements

Your profile:

  • In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience: A demonstrated track record with extensive (5 years +) hands-on experience in designing and delivering solutions using Appian. Proven examples of past projects, including the challenges faced, the solutions provided, and the value delivered to the clients will be valuable.

  • Experience in end-to-end Appian project delivery: Proven expertise in leading the design, development and deployment of Appian applications. This involves working with business and IT stakeholders, business analysts and developers to translate business needs into functional and technical requirements.

  • Wide range of knowledge on Appian tools and features: As an Appian Solutions Architect, you should be familiar with Appian features like process modeling, low code application development, interface design, rules and expressions, predictive analytics, Appian Sites, and document management.

  • Understand the principles of Solution Design and Architecture: A strong understanding of enterprise architecture and application development is crucial. This includes solution and data architecture, integrations, APIs, and microservices.

  • Understanding of relational and non-relational databases, SQL, data analysis, and data modeling.

  • Expertise in troubleshooting and problem-solving: Ability to troubleshoot Appian applications, and use tools like the Appian Health Check and the Appian Log Reader effectively to diagnose and solve problems.

  • Knowledge of cloud services: As many applications are now cloud-based, a good understanding of cloud services like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure is important.

  • Good Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC): Familiarity with different phases of SDLC, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment is crucial.

  • Appian Certifications: Industry recognized credentials such as Appian Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 Designer certifications, or even being an Appian Certified Associate, are all favorable.

  • Proficiency in Polish and English - you need to be able to take part in meetings and workshops with Polish-speaking clients

    nice to have:

    • Experience with other low-code platforms (OutSystems, Mendix or Microsoft PowerApps...).

    • Knowledge of BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation).

    • Familiarity with no-code development, strategies and platforms.

    • Knowledge of IT standards, framework, and best practices: such as ITIL, TOGAF and experience with compliance regulations such as GDPR will be beneficial.

    Work from Poland, and a work permit is required.
