You will be:
shaping and executing the data product roadmap for retail domains,
acting as the go-to expert for all retail data product initiatives,
translating complex business needs into scalable data products,
leading requirements gathering and stakeholder alignment,
defining and tracking KPIs that demonstrate business value and adoption,
champion governance, security, and compliance best practices,
running workshops, demos, and training to drive engagement,
staying current with retail tech, cloud data trends, and industry standards.
As the Retail Data Product Manager, you’ll define and own the data product vision across domains like:
POS sales and inventory,
customer traffic and RFID,
promotions and store operations,
omni-channel journeys (buy online, return in store),
workforce management,
You’ll work hand-in-hand with engineers, analysts, scientists, and global stakeholders to build data products that are scalable, secure, and drive measurable impact.
Job requirements
Your profile:
bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field,
10+ years in retail data product management, ideally in consulting or multi-client settings,
deep knowledge of retail business domains: POS, inventory, promotions, store ops, workforce mgmt., etc.,
strong grasp of data engineering, governance, and modern architectures (cloud, batch/streaming),
proven ability to launch and scale complex data products,
excellent stakeholder and communication skills,
experience with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker),
agile mindset, strong documentation practices,
fluent English and experience working with global teams (US, Europe, Asia),
work from the European Union region and a work permit are required.
Nice to have:
familiarity with Retail POS reporting and operational metrics,
hands-on experience with GCP or similar cloud platforms,
data orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, dbt),
strong analytical thinking and ability to influence change.
