Role is the intersection of analytics and engineering, with a strong focus on consulting. You will provide recommendations to the data team leadership to ensure smooth processes at scale (hundreds of terabytes).

You will be:

  • setting up, documenting, and propagating new processes (including Data Governance),

  • testing different tools and suggesting new ones,

  • building internal reports to monitor data processes,

  • providing recommendations for internal tools development,

  • monitoring trends in data to come up with new use cases.

This is a highly collaborative effort. You will spend a lot of time on conceptual work, but from time to time you will get your hands dirty with code. So technical skills are a must.

Job requirements

  • experience in cooperation at leadership/management level - collecting requirements, providing recommendations, translating business needs to data products

  • proficiency at data modelling (Kimball)

  • experience in developing full data pipelines at scale (terabytes) - from ingestion, through modelling, to reports

  • interest/experience in concepts like: data governance, data mesh, self-service analytics, AI

  • expert knowledge of Python, Spark, Azure, dbt, and Databricks (experience in Unity Catalog would be nice to have).

Work from EU and a work permit to work from EU are required.
