You will be:
working in projects at various stages of the product lifecycle,
learning about the context and goals of the client’s business,
recommending and co-creating optimal solutions with high ergonomics, user needs and business objectives in mind
taking care of the aesthetics, details and high quality of web and mobile digital products,
shaping the design culture at Xebia, defining standards and participating in setting the development direction.
As s Product Designer you combine the roles of UX Designer and UI Designer and are responsible for creating seamless, user-centered digital experiences. You focus on understanding user needs through research and analysis, defining user journeys, and crafting intuitive wireframes and prototypes. On the visual side, you design aesthetically pleasing and functional interfaces that align with brand guidelines and enhance usability. This role involves close collaboration with developers, product managers and stakeholders to ensure that the designs are both technically feasible and meet business objectives. Finally, you bridge the gap between user experience and visual design, ensuring the final product is both functional and engaging.
Job requirements
Your profile:
At least 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design with a proven track record of delivering user-centered digital products in the mobile, enterprise and SaaS spaces,
experience organizing and leading discovery workshops with stakeholders to gather requirements and define project direction,
expertise in mapping user journeys, creating personas, and defining user flows,
strong skills in creating wireframes and interactive prototypes for validation and testing,
knowledge of user research methodologies and experience conducting user interviews, surveys, and usability tests,
proven ability to analyze and apply user feedback to improve product usability,
proven ability to create, maintain, and expand design systems,
mastery of visual design principles, including typography, color theory, and layout,
experience creating high-fidelity interfaces that are both functional and visually appealing,
familiarity with accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and best practices for responsive design,
proficiency in using design tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD and familiarity with Photoshop, InVision or Zeplin,
experience collaborating closely with developers and product managers to ensure design feasibility and alignment with business goals,
ability to think strategically and align design decisions with long-term business objectives,
excellent communication skills with the ability to present and defend design decisions to stakeholders,
proficiency in English (at least B2).
Work from the European Union region and a work permit are required.
