You will be:

  • involved in pre-sales activities such as calls with potential clients to understand their needs, offer preparation and presentation,
  • leading the estimation process, involving SMEs from different parts of Xebia, as required to prepare the estimate in both time & materials and fixed-price models,
  • responsible for creating project/delivery plan being part of the offer in the RFP response process, in close cooperation with Xebia international sales department team,
  • responsible for offer’s feasibility and Xebia’s contractual and commercial safety,
  • managing fixed-price and time & material delivery, including large and complex projects and programs, in particular:
    • tracking projects’ progress against agreed timeline/schedule,
    • identifying and managing risks,
    • actively managing projects’ scope and budget,
    • handling change requests,
  • building and maintaining long-term partnerships with clients, with deep understanding of clients’ goals and expectations,
  • setting up standards for fixed price projects management within Xebia organization,
  • educating and mentoring Xebia delivery managers, with a strong focus on time-bound or budget-bound delivery,
  • building and managing successful project teams, as well as ensuring effectiveness and transparency of work, including communication between team members and clients,
  • ensuring high standards of ethics, integrity, and quality of management,
  • working from the office or remotely (however, we’d love it if you visit us at least once a month).

Job requirements

Your profile:

  • proven experience in responding to RFPs for fixed price software projects,
  • proven track record of fixed price software projects delivery (including large and complex),
  • experience in IT project management within an outsourcing environment,
  • experience in leading multinational teams,
  • customer and team focus,
  • good understanding of SDLC and software engineering practices,
  • practical knowledge of Agile methodologies and frameworks,
  • flexibility in adapting working method to clients’ limitations,
  • self-reliance, independence, ability to make decisions,
  • strong sense of ownership,
  • focus on making things happen,
  • excellent command of both spoken and written English and Polish.

Work from European Union region and work permit are required.
