You will be:

  • building robust and scalable software for business-critical, web-based applications,
  • building scratching, functional, efficient, and reusable web and mobile-based sites that drive these web applications,
  • designing, building, testing, document and maintain API’s and integrations,
  • ensuring quality control using industry-standard techniques such as automated testing, pairing, and code review,
  • assessing current system architecture and identifying opportunities for growth and improvement,
  • building mock-ups or prototypes to explore and troubleshoot new initiatives,
  • working with the Product team and UX designers to review designs, implement new features, and ensure user experience is top-level,
  • working with the Product team to understand end-user requirements and translate them into an effective technical solution,
  • opinionating regarding system architecture, able to suggest improvements and changes required to support delivery of new functionality, where required,
  • having the opportunity to work with well-known brands from various industries such as Yell, Schmitz Cargobull, Axel Springer, MSI and more (learn more about our projects here).

Job requirements

Your profile:

  • 5+ years of experience in creating web solutions,
  • skilled in JavaScript, TypeScript, React,
  • experienced with HTML/CSS , including concepts like layout, specificity, cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility,
  • skilled in Kotlin (good knowledge of Java is a big plus),
  • strong software engineering principles (SOLID, DRY, ER modeling),
  • good knowledge of front-end development, able to build rich user interfaces following a responsive design,
  • strong familiarity with build tools (e.g. Maven) and version control tools (e.g. Git/Github),
  • comfortable working with cloud infrastructure, infrastructure as code, familiar with standard logging and monitoring tools used to investigate issues,

  • able to comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technologies,
  • able to actively lead engineering team discussions and meetings as required,
  • experienced in working in agile teams, following Scrum or Kanban, participating in regular ceremonies including stand-ups, planning, and retrospectives,
  • fluent in English (min. B2).
