Job description

Hello, let’s meet!

We are Xebia - a place where experts grow. For nearly two decades now, we've been developing digital solutions for clients from many industries and places across the globe. Among the brands we’ve worked with are UPS, McLaren, Aviva, Deloitte, and many, many more.

We're passionate about Cloud-based solutions. So much so, that we have a partnership with three of the largest Cloud providers in the business – Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure & Google Cloud Platform (GCP). We even became the first AWS Premier Consulting Partner in Poland.

Formerly we were known as PGS Software. In 2021, we joined Xebia Group – a family of interlinked companies driven by the desire to make a difference in the world of technology.

Xebia stands for innovation, talented team members, and technological excellence. Xebia means worldwide recognition, and thought leadership. This regularly provides us with the opportunity to work on global, innovative projects.

Our mission can be captured in one word: Authority. We want to be recognized as the authority in our field of expertise.

What makes us stand out? It's the little details, like our attitude, dedication to knowledge, and the belief in people's potential - emphasizing every team members development. Obviously, these things are not easy to present on paper – so make sure to visit us to see it with your own eyes!

As a Technical Product Manager you will lead the migration standalone applications consisting of complex computational workloads onto Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and the High-Performance Computing (HPC) environment for our pharmaceutical clients. This strategic and tactical role blends deep technical expertise with product management skills to drive complex migration projects from conception to successful implementation.
You will serve as the critical bridge between technical implementation teams, business stakeholders, and scientific community end users, ensuring that scientific computing workloads maintain integrity and performance while aligning with business priorities. Working closely with engineering leaders, engineering teams, product teams, and external vendors you will define the technical requirements and migration strategy while navigating the specialized needs of scientific computing in regulated industries. Your ability to balance enterprise technology concerns with stakeholder and end-user needs will be essential to the success of these migrations.

Now, we've talked a lot about ourselves – but we'd love to hear more about you.

Send us your resume to start the conversation and join the #Xebia.

You will be:

  • able to balance the demands as a strategic driver and tactical contributor, blending high-level product leadership with hands-on execution, requiring both vision and day-to-day ownership of key deliverables and written requirements,
  • creating and maintaining a comprehensive migration roadmap that outlines stages, dependencies, and release schedules for standalone applications,
  • collaborating with client engineering teams to architect and design migration strategies and technical structures,
  • defining, document, and prioritize clear technical and business requirements for application migrations,
  • supporting architectural design and technical planning efforts, ensuring solutions meet both business and technical needs,
  • working closely with engineers, business analysts, and client stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful delivery,
  • navigating complex technical ecosystems and manage cross-functional dependencies,
  • leading requirements gathering sessions with technical and non-technical stakeholders,
  • assisting in establishing migration documentation and knowledge transfer strategies,
  • helping prioritize migration efforts based on business value, technical constraints, and client directives,
  • facilitating communication between external application vendors and client teams during the migration process,
  • understanding and documenting specific HPC workload requirements during migration planning,
  • collaborating with engineers to develop migration strategies that maintain HPC performance benchmarks,
  • ensuring HPC applications maintain required computational performance when migrated to cloud infrastructure,
  • balancing performance needs with cloud cost optimization for compute-intensive applications,
  • coordinating with client teams on HPC resource allocation and scheduling requirements.
